How to do this exercise

  1. Step:1 Stand with your feet together and your torso straight.
  2. Step:2 Take a large step to the side (laterally) with one leg, while keeping the other leg perfectly straight.
  3. Step:3 Bend the knee of the stepping leg and push your hips back as if sitting on an invisible chair on one side.
  4. Step:4 Go as low as possible, seeking the maximum stretch on the inner thigh of the straight leg.
  5. Step:5 Make sure that the heel of the supporting leg remains firmly anchored to the ground and that your knee does not extend excessively beyond your toes.
  6. Step:6 Powerfully push through the foot of the bent leg to return to the starting position.
  7. Step:7 Alternate sides or complete all reps on one leg before switching.
